Science Poster Competition 

About the Competition

Each APA Division has the opportunity to submit two outstanding posters to compete: 

• One by an APA member 
• One by a student 

These top posters undergo review by a panel of esteemed judges from diverse areas of psychology and are judged on the following criteria: 

• Makes a contribution to the field 
• Highly innovative and/or creative 
• Design and analyses support the research question/topic 
• The approach/methodology is well articulated. 
• The conceptual/theoretical framework supports the research question(s) and/or topic. 
• Interpretations clearly match evidence and research question(s) and/or topic. 
• Visually clear and understandable 
• Visually has aesthetic appeal
