CE Sessions: Virtual Only

NEW FOR 2024: Eligibility for unlimited CE credit for Virtual CE Sessions (live and on-demand) is now included in the APA 2024 virtual convention registration fee!

During APA 2024, the APA Office of Continuing Education in Psychology sponsors CE credit for selected virtual sessions on a wide range of topics.

This year we are offering CE Sessions from two simultaneous livestream channels broadcast from the Main Stage and Feature Stage in Seattle, WA, August 8-10. The livestreamed CE Sessions will be available for on-demand CE starting at the end of August.

The Virtual CE Session program is available here. The Virtual CE Session program is subject to change.

The separately priced half- and full-day CE Workshops are available exclusively in-person at The Westin Seattle and are not available virtually.

Earning CE Credit for Live Virtual CE Sessions

Watch the entire livestreamed session from a computer, August 8-10, on the virtual platform. Credited sessions are identified by the graduation cap icon in the virtual platform.
Click “Confirm Attendance” when an awareness check pops up on your screen.
At the end of the session, scroll down below the video viewer and click the Evaluation tab. Complete the CE Session course evaluation.
Download your CE Certificate once you have finished earning credit for all APA 2024 CE Sessions.

Click your name in the top left corner of the screen.
Select “My Account” from the dropdown.
Select the Certificate tab.
Click the down arrow button to download.

Note: CE Awareness Checks may not appear on a mobile device or tablet. For the best results, watch the session livestream from a computer using Google Chrome.

Earning CE Credit for On-Demand CE Sessions

Watch the entire on-demand video for the session.
Pass a CE Quiz (75% or better with two attempts).
Complete the CE Session course evaluation.
Download your CE Certificate once you have finished earning credit for all APA 2024 CE Sessions.

On-demand recordings will be available to registrants starting at the end of August. Participants can only earn on-demand CE credit for those sessions that they did not already earn credit for live.

Persons with disabilities who require special accommodations while attending virtual CE Sessions should contact the CEP Office (cpe@apa.org) by July 8.

Continuing Education Approval Statement

All Continuing Education (CE) Workshops are sponsored by the APA Continuing Education Committee (CEC). They have been reviewed and approved by the APA CEC to offer CE credits for psychologists. The APA CEC maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

The American Psychological Association is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists #PSY-0100.
