how to claim CE credit
Whether you attended in person, watched live, or are catching up on-demand, earning and claiming CE credits at APA 2026 is easy! Follow the steps below to claim your credits and download your certificate.
Claiming CE Credit for Sessions You Watched Live or Attended In-Person
You can claim CE credit for any eligible session you attended or watched in full. Simply follow the steps below.
All CE evaluations must be completed through the APA 2026 mobile app or the
Claim CE Credits
website. Hardcopy evaluations and CE certificates will not be provided.
- Log in to either the APA 2026 mobile app or the Claim CE Credit website. Watch our video guide on logging in to the APA 2026 mobile app.
- Complete the CE Evaluation for each session that you fully attended by selecting Evaluate next to the session title. Before you complete your first evaluation, choose either an APA CE Certificate or an APA New York CE Certificate.
- Once you're done completing your evaluations, select Access Certificates to download or email your CE certificate.
Deadline to claim CE Credit for in-person sessions: October 2, 2026
Earn CE Credit for On-Demand Sessions
You can also earn CE for eligible sessions available on the APA 2026 On Demand platform, which will be available September 2 through December 2, 2026.
- Watch the entire on-demand video.
- Pass the CE Quiz (75% or better; two attempts allowed).
- Complete the course evaluation.
Note: On-demand CE credit is available for missed sessions only. You may not earn CE credit for a session you already attended live.
Once you've completed your CE Sessions, download your certificate from your account.
- Click your name in the top-left corner and select "My Account."
- Select the Certificate tab.
- Click the download arrow.

All CE Sessions have been reviewed and approved by the APA Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP) to offer CE credits for psychologists. The APA CEP office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
The American Psychological Association is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists #PSY-0100.
