WHERE TO STAY

Unauthorized housing companies (called hotel “poachers”) have been known to contact registered convention attendees offering cheaper rates at hotels in APA’s hotel block. This practice, also known as “room pirating,” is a scam that all convention attendees should be aware of to avoid passing along personal and financial information. Hotel poachers will claim to be an APA “partner” or the “official housing company” and will sometimes ask that your room reservation, which may or may not exist, be paid in full in advance of the convention. APA’s official housing service is onPeak. Only onPeak can book within the APA’s room block and will contact you only upon your request. Please report any unauthorized solicitations to the APA Convention Office (meetings@apa.org). 

Discounted APA Convention room rates are available only when reservations are made through APA’s housing partner, onPeak. Hotel reservations can be made online or by phone beginning on April 22, 2026, at 10 a.m. ET. Reservations close on the following dates: July 10 for the Homewood Suites, July 15 for The Westin and Grand Hyatt, and July 17 for all other hotels

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking; reservations cannot be made without entering credit card information. Credit cards must be valid through August 2026 to be processed and considered a proper guarantee.

You will receive a confirmation email from onPeak within 24 hours of making your hotel reservation. Review it carefully for accuracy. Room confirmation will be sent only to the primary person requesting the reservation. If you do not receive your confirmation within 24 hours of submitting your request, please contact onPeak at (855) 992-3353 or apa@onpeaksupport.com.

OnPeak will accept changes or cancellations on or by July 10 for Homewood Suites reservations, July 15 for Westin and Grand Hyatt reservations, and reservations at all other hotels until July 17. After July 22 changes should be made directly with the hotel. Please email onPeak between July 15 and 17, the hotel may not see your reservation in their system, while the reservations are loading into the hotel’s system.

Cancellations must be made 72 hours before check-in to avoid a penalty. Hotels reserve the right to charge a fee equal to one night's room and tax for late cancellations. APA and onPeak are not responsible for early or late cancellation fees. Policies vary by hotel, please refer to your onPeak confirmation email the hotels policies.
