Media Coverage for APA 2025
Media coverage at APA 2025 depends upon the availability of papers. We will be accepting papers by email.
If you feel your presentation may be of interest to reporters covering APA 2025, please email your convention paper(s) to: public.affairs@apa.org by no later than June 30. If the attachment is too large to convey via email, please contact APA Director of Public Affairs Jim Sliwa at jsliwa@apa.org to coordinate an alternate delivery method.
The cover page should list your name, affiliation, address, business phone, email, and title of your paper. Please add “Presented at the 2025 American Psychological Association Convention at Denver, CO, August 7-9, 2025,” and note the day and time of the presentation. Otherwise, please bring a copy to the APA Press Room at the convention on a flash drive at least 24 hours before the presentation.
NOTE: All papers, and their specific findings, are embargoed for release to the media.
Can I present my session remotely?
All division programs will be in-person and not offered virtually. However, divisions may decide on an individual basis to allow sessions that have up to 25% of the speakers participating remotely.* The remaining 75% of the program’s presenters must be present in Denver, CO. It is advised that presenters contact divisions directly for questions related to the feasibility of virtual participation.
*A remote presentation is a pre-recorded presentation adhering to the same duration requirements as a live presentation. Live streaming is cost prohibitive and can only be considered if a division or session presenters can fund the cost of streaming themselves. Due to space and technology limitations, we may not be able to accommodate all sessions with virtual presenters. If we are unable to accommodate your session’s request, you would be given the opportunity to replace the virtual speaker(s) or withdraw your proposal.
