The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac) is just a 20-minute drive or 40-minute light rail ride from Downtown Seattle. The airport is fully equipped with special access facilities.
Just over a mile from the Seattle Convention Center (Arch Building), King Street Station is served by three Amtrak routes—Amtrak Cascade, Coast Starlight, and Empire Builder—as well as regional rail lines.
Seattle is within driving distance of Portland, OR, Vancouver, BC, and other west coast cities.

Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, the Seattle Convention Center is easy to get to. Please note that there are two Convention Center areas in Seattle — Summit and Arch. APA 2024 is taking place at the Arch buildings, located across the street from each other at 705 and 800 Pike Street.
The Link Light Rail connects the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to downtown Seattle via Westlake Station. Trains operate every 8-15 minutes and fares range from $2.25-3.25. Stations have level boarding platforms and railcars have audio and visual stop announcements.
Tip: Pick up an Orca card for easy access to all of Seattle’s public transit options.
Downtown Seattle is easy to navigate on foot or on two wheels. Rent a Lime ebike from your Uber app or an e-scooter from Bird, WHEELS, and SPIN.
Ride share services (Uber, Lyft), taxis, and limos are all available to connect you to downtown Seattle. Taxi service from SeaTac to downtown can range from $40-60, one way. The SeaTac taxi fleet includes wheel chair accessible vehicles.
Parking, including accessible parking, is available at the Seattle Convention Center and at the nearby headquarters hotels. Street parking is limited.
