Wary of technology, but think you should know more about it? Excited about technology's potential, but not sure where to start? This introductory workshop is for you. Participants review types of digital mental health interventions, evaluate data on their utility, explore how these interventions can mitigate known barriers to service, examine developments in cultural adaptation, and discuss the basics of artificial intelligence. Using their own smartphones, participants engage in hands-on exploration of mental health apps for specific people or problems. Although the presenter has conducted research on digital technologies for anxiety for 20+ years, she does not consider herself “a technology person.”
