Nsedu Obot Witherspoon, MPH, is the Executive Director for the Children's Environmental Health Network (CEHN). For the past 25 years, she has served as a key spokesperson for children's vulnerabilities and the need for their protection. She is a leader in the field serving on the Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes External Science Board. She is a leader of the Cancer Free Economy Network, Co-Chair of the America the Beautiful for All Coalition, Lead Chair for Clean Water for All, and Co-Chair of the National Environmental Health Partnership Council. Ms. Witherspoon is the Board Chair for Habitable, Board member for the Environmental Integrity Project, and serves on the Maryland Children's Environmental Health Advisory Council. She has a variety of publications and is the recipient of the Rachel’s Network Catalyst Award, William R. Reilly Award in Environmental Leadership, and the 950 Alumni Award by The GW School of Public Health. She is a proud mom to 4 children.
