Accessibility
At APA 2025, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, and welcoming environment where all attendees may fully participate. We champion universal and inclusive design principles, integrating accessibility as an essential aspect of all programming and events. Our efforts aim to remove barriers while also addressing individual needs to ensure a convention experience that is respectful and accommodating for everyone.
On-site Accessibility
At APA 2025, we are taking an active and intentional role in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where all attendees have the opportunity to participate. While we aim to anticipate a wide range of access needs, we recognize that individual needs vary and individualized requests remain essential. For individuals with disabilities and/or medical conditions, if you require accommodations beyond the examples provided below, please specify accommodations you may require on the registration form by selecting the appropriate boxes, and a member of our team will reach out to gather more details and ensure we can accommodate your needs.
We ask that you register by July 1 to allow APA adequate time to meet all needs. Reasonable requests made after this date will be considered.
If you have already registered for APA 2025 and need additional support, please email
convention@apa.org and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. If the request is made after July 1, we will do our best to facilitate accommodations requests after that time.

About Individual Sessions
Outside of the Main Stage and Feature Stage events, APA encourages all session presenters at APA 2025 to make their presentations accessible.
Click here for best practice guidelines. We also encourage all presenters to upload their presentation materials to the APA 2025 app before the convention to enable attendees to download and/or print such documents to bring with them. Unfortunately, APA cannot provide slides or outlines in advance or transcripts of the presentations following the sessions. Presenters are given the option to upload materials in advance to the APA 2025 app, but we cannot guarantee all presenters will do this. We encourage attendees to connect with presenters in-person following the sessions to discuss options.
Accommodations and Disability Resources Room
The Accommodations and Disability Resources Room is in the registration foyer, outside the Solutions Center Exhibit Hall on the exhibit level of the Colorado Convention Center. Here you will find staff and volunteers available to support your needs.
This area provides services to our convention attendees who identify as disabled (apparent, non-apparent, temporary, or permanent), neurodivergent, and/or as having a medical condition. It is also a space that embraces disability pride, recognizing disability as a valued identity and community.
We invite attendees, including people with disabilities, to use this space to rest or relax, connect with other attendees, seek support from staff, or seek assistance related to attending or accessing sessions and events.
The Colorado Convention Center
The Colorado Convention Center is a fully accessible facility. This includes restroom facilities and elevators compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service animals are allowed per ADA guidelines.
The convention center encourages attendees to utilize the drop-off points for those who may not be able to walk long distances. Designated handicapped parking is also available on all three levels of the parking garage but not close to the center.
To learn more about accessibility at the convention center, visit the
Colorado Convention Center’s Accessibility Services page.
