Neuromodulation and psychedelic treatments are applied to patients with complex, severe, and refractory psychiatric illnesses. Psychologists can help identify and examine ethical challenges posed by new neuroscientific technologies. This session will provide two vignettes (DBS, psychedelic treatment) that illustrate the neuroethical challenges and a discussion of potential courses of action.
