You've curated programs that lead the way. Now it's time to share them!

To help you spread the word about your Division's APA 2026 programming, we've developed graphics, templates, and promotional language you can use to build excitement around your sessions and posters. Please note that any Division programming outside of your allotted convention hours will not appear in the convention program. Divisions must promote those sessions to their members independently.

In May and June, focus on encouraging registration and attendance at your programs among your Division members. Early Bird registration closes May 20, so make sure your members know to register early to get the best rate!

To do:

Add convention information to your Division’s website, if you haven't already.
Send programming highlights and registration information to your Division’s listserv.
Post about your programming and registration on your Division’s social media channels.
Get your speakers involved. Share the presenter toolkit with the speakers in your program to encourage them to promote their sessions.

You’ve made sure that people know about your programming and how to register — now it’s time to get them even more excited about your Division programs!

Send an email to your Division members and post on your listserv with programming information. Be sure to include your agenda, Division Engagement Space information, and any social hours or activities.

Get ready to see all your hard work pay off at APA 2026!

Make sure you and your Division members are prepared for a great convention experience by downloading the APA 2026 app, reviewing the process for earning and claiming CE credit, and exploring the program to find your can't-miss sessions.

Once you're at APA 2026, use your social media channels to build excitement about upcoming sessions or share the highlights live. Don’t forget to use the #APA2026 hashtag, and/or tag APA’s accounts in your posts, to engage with fellow attendees on social media during the event.

To create custom graphics that list your Division's specific programming, use our editable Canva templates. Canva is an easy-to-use online design platform that lets anyone create professional-looking graphics and more.

To use these templates, click on the button below the template you would like to use. You will be prompted to log in or create a free account. Click on "File" in the top left menu bar and make a copy. When in the template, click on the text box to edit/write over the existing text. When finished, click on the down arrow in the navigation and select “download.”

Use and adapt the language below for your Division’s social channels. You are the expert, and you know what will work best for your audience. Pair your message with a custom graphic (above) to make a bigger impact!
