Division Marketing Toolkit
You did a lot of work to curate your Division’s APA 2025 programming. Now it’s time to get the word out! We've developed graphics, templates, and promotional language you can use to get your members excited about your sessions and posters. Remember, Division programming that is outside of your allotted convention hours will not appear in the convention program. It’s your responsibility to promote those sessions to your members.

Sample Promotional Checklist
April is all about getting prepared. Make sure that your website is up to date and your Division knows what is to come.
To Do:
- Add convention information to your Division’s website.
- Send programming highlights and registration information to your Division’s listserv.
- Post about your programming and registration on your Division’s social media channels.
- Register for APA 2025! Registration opens on April 23 at 10 a.m. ET.
- Get your speakers involved. Share the presenter toolkit with the speakers in your program to encourage them to promote their sessions.
In May and June, focus on encouraging registration and attendance at your programs among your Division members. Early Bird registration closes June 4, so make sure your members know to register early to get the best rate!
To Do:
- Post about your programming on your social media channels and encourage your members to join you.
- Highlight your Division’s programming to your networks via social media, listservs, email, and other channels.
- Remember to remind your networks that Early Bird registration closes June 4.
You’ve made sure that people know about your programming and how to register — now it’s time to get them even more excited about your Division programs!

- Send an email to your Division members and post on your listserv with programming information. Be sure to include your agenda, Informal Program Room information, and any social hours or activities.
Get ready to see all your hard work pay off at APA 2025! Keep the engagement going at convention.
Use your social media channels to build excitement about upcoming sessions or share the highlights live. Don’t forget to use the #APA2025 hashtag, and/or tag APA’s accounts in your posts, to engage with fellow attendees on social media during the event.

Canva is an easy-to-use online design platform that lets anyone create professional-looking graphics and more. To use these templates, click on the button below the template you would like to use. You will be prompted to log in or create a free account. Click on "File" in the top left menu bar and make a copy. When in the template, click on the text box to edit/write over the existing text.
