Shanti Sethi, CAPT, USN

Shanti Sethi spent 30 years as an Active Duty Naval Officer, serving all over the world. Her operational commands ranged from a small, coastal mine hunting ship to a multi-national force tasked with protecting NATO’s European members from ballistic missile attacks. She rounded out her tenure as the Executive Secretary and Defense Advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris’ National Security Adviser and the Director for Recruiting and Talent Management at the National Security Council before retiring in 2023.

During her tenure in the Navy, Shanti developed a personal philosophy focused on helping her protégées stand out from the crowd while remaining true to themselves. As a single, working parent, she also has great insights into the challenges of balancing work and family even in high intensity situations.

Shanti believes that the keys to success are understanding what you want, communicating effectively, and connecting with those around you. She has taken this philosophy and is applying it as a Career and Executive Coach with a personalized, positive and action-oriented approach.
